In Your Name. (2016) [Kimi no na wa.], high school students Mitsuha (voiced by Mone Kamishiraishi) and Taki (Ryunosuke Kamiki) find themselves inexplicably swapping bodies, living each other’s lives in their small town and Tokyo, respectively. At first bewildered, they communicate by leaving notes for each other, gradually developing a deep bond. As they learn more about one another, Mitsuha and Taki’s connection transcends distance and time, with Taki discovering a looming disaster that threatens Mitsuha’s town.

Determined to prevent tragedy, Taki embarks on a journey that challenges fate itself. Directed by Makoto Shinkai, this animated fantasy-romance explores themes of connection, destiny, and love, with breathtaking visuals and a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack.
