During his first year of high school, Hodaka leaves his isolated island and arrives in Tokyo, where he struggles to make ends meet amid constant rain and gloomy skies. His solitary existence begins to change when he encounters Hina, a determined girl with the extraordinary ability to stop the rain and bring clear skies.
