Convinced they’d be better off raising themselves, the four quirky Willoughby children hatch a plan to send their selfish parents on a dangerous vacation. As they embark on their own wild adventure to find the meaning of family, they discover that being apart from their parents isn’t as simple—or as perfect—as they imagined.
Based on the book by Lois Lowry, *The Willoughbys* is a darkly humorous animated film directed by Kris Pearn. Featuring voice performances by Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Ricky Gervais, and Alessia Cara, this stylized Netflix original blends heart, wit, and a whimsical aesthetic in a story about found family and the chaos of growing up.
