The Wild Robot (2024) [4K]

Stranded on a remote island after a shipwreck, Roz (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), a programmed robot, must adapt to her new environment and learn to survive among wild animals. Initially met with suspicion, Roz slowly builds relationships with the island’s inhabitants, eventually becoming the adoptive mother to an orphaned gosling named Brightbill (Kit Connor). As she takes on this unexpected role, Roz discovers the complexities of parenthood, forming emotional connections that challenge her programming.

Directed by Chris Sanders, The Wild Robot explores themes of identity, adaptation, and the balance between technology and nature. Featuring a voice cast that includes Pedro Pascal as Fink the fox, Catherine O’Hara as Pinktail the opossum, and Bill Nighy as Longneck the goose, the film combines stunning animation with heartfelt storytelling for an experience that resonates with audiences of all ages.
