The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature (2017)

Surly Squirrel and his group of animal friends enjoy living in Liberty Park, a peaceful urban oasis where they gather food and find shelter. Their routines are disrupted when the mayor of Oakton reveals plans to demolish the park and replace it with a hazardous amusement park, putting their home at risk. Faced with losing their safe haven, Surly and the crew must find a way to stop the mayor’s dangerous scheme before it’s too late.

As construction crews prepare to bulldoze the park, Surly teams up with familiar faces and new allies to hatch a plan that will protect Liberty Park and its residents. Together, they navigate challenges and outsmart the mayor’s forces in a race against time. Their adventure tests their teamwork and courage as they fight to defend their community from the looming threat of an unwanted amusement park.
