In a world where each holiday has its own realm, Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon), the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, grows weary of the same spooky celebrations year after year. During a stroll, he stumbles upon Christmas Town and is captivated by its festive spirit. Enthralled by the idea of Christmas, Jack decides to bring the holiday back to Halloween Town and take on the role of “Sandy Claws” himself. However, his well-meaning efforts to spread holiday cheer go awry, resulting in a blend of Halloween mischief and Christmas chaos.

Despite the warnings from his friend Sally (Catherine O’Hara), Jack’s plan to create his own version of Christmas backfires, endangering both worlds. Featuring memorable songs by Danny Elfman, who also provides Jack’s singing voice, the film is known for its unique stop-motion animation, hauntingly beautiful visuals, and the fusion of dark fantasy with holiday magic.
