In the town of Whoville, the cheerful Whos prepare for their grand annual Christmas celebration, filled with lights, music, and festive cheer. High above the town, the Grinch, a green, grouchy creature who despises the holiday, plots to foil the Whos’ joyful gathering. Determined to stop their merriment, he devises a plan to steal every decoration, gift, and treat that makes Christmas special for the Whos.
Amid the excitement, Cindy Lou Who, a young girl with a big heart, notices the loneliness behind the Grinch’s scowl. As the Grinch carries out his mischievous scheme, Cindy Lou’s unexpected kindness and curiosity about him begin to stir changes in his outlook.
