The Crood family, led by Grug, finds themselves on a quest for a safer place to call home. Their search leads them to a lush, walled-in paradise that seems perfect for their prehistoric needs. However, this new haven is already occupied by the Bettermans, a more advanced family whose modern outlook and sophisticated lifestyle clash with the Croods’ rugged ways.

As the Croods and the Bettermans struggle to adjust to living side by side, tensions rise between the two families. When an unexpected threat emerges, both groups are forced to put aside their differences and rely on one another’s strengths.
