Sleeping Beauty (1959)

Adaptation of the fairy tale of the same name. Princess Aurora is cursed by the evil witch Maleficent – who declares that before Aurora reaches her 16th birthday she will die by pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning-wheel. To try to prevent this, the king places her into hiding, in the care of three good-natured – but not too bright – fairies.

Slowly but surely I’m moving all caps over to the new style for faster image loading times. I’m doing it by release year in ascending order, so I started with the oldest movies and am working my way up. BFG will definitely be done when I get to the 2010s.

I had been searching for quality photos of classic Disney animations (50’s through 70’s). I stumbled upon your site and I truly appreciate it. I am making acrylic magnets for an upcoming Disney cruise. I printed a series from the woods, one from the storybook, and the opening title. The backgrounds of this film are masterful. Thank you, again.

Since I heard about the american version of the (my german version) film “Dornroeschen” – it is “sleeping beauty” by disney-productions – I became a great fan of
this version in the english language. Especially I love “Maleficent” vs. prince philip – it is fascinating for me to see, how a witch can catch a young prince!
I love the comlete movie “sleeping beauty” and now I try to buy this video in its original version – The german version is not so informative, because some parts of
this video are cutted out! Therefore it is my greatest wish to get “sleeping beauty”
Perhaps you can give me some tips getting adresses for selling the o r i g i n a l video – I mean for example Amazon or others!

I hope that I can be in contact with you and I will sign now – I am a German Fan of Disney!

Many thanks for a friendly answer
