Onward (2020)
In a modern suburban setting where mythical creatures live ordinary lives, teenage elf brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot discover a magical artifact left behind by their late father. The brothers set out on a journey to complete a spell that could bring back a moment with their dad, but their quest is complicated by Ian’s limited magical skills and Barley’s adventurous spirit. Along the way, they navigate city streets filled with enchanted creatures and encounter various magical challenges.
As Ian and Barley travel through their world, they rely on each other and the help of friends to unlock the power hidden within the artifact. Their adventure reveals a mix of familiar and fantastical elements as they pursue the magic that once thrived in their community but has largely faded.
