Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
In a small village, Kubo enchants those around him with his ability to tell stories through magical origami creations brought to life by the strings of his shamisen. His peaceful life is disrupted when he inadvertently summons a vengeful spirit determined to capture him. To protect himself and his family, Kubo must leave his home and embark on a perilous journey across ancient landscapes filled with mysterious creatures and hidden dangers.
Joined by a talking monkey and a beetle warrior, Kubo seeks to unravel the secrets of his father’s past, a fallen samurai whose legendary armor and mystical weapons could hold the key to defeating the dark forces pursuing him. Along the way, Kubo must confront powerful enemies and discover the true strength of his own magical abilities as he fights to save those he loves.
