Descendants 2 (2017)
Mal struggles with the expectations that come with being part of the royal family in Auradon, feeling overwhelmed by her responsibilities and the pressure to live up to her new role. Seeking relief, she returns to the Isle of the Lost, a place where the children of famous villains are banished, hoping to find balance away from the constant demands of royalty. However, upon her return, Mal discovers that Uma, Ursula’s daughter, has risen to power and declared herself queen, challenging Mal’s place among the villainous youth.
Uma’s leadership has shaken up the Isle of the Lost, and her rivalry with Mal sets the stage for a clash between their differing visions for the island’s future. Meanwhile, Mal’s friends and fellow descendants, including Evie, Jay, and Carlos, become involved in navigating the tensions between Auradon and the Isle. This creates a backdrop of adventure and music as characters face struggles over loyalty, identity, and belonging in two very different worlds.
