Barbie in ‘A Christmas Carol’ (2008)
On Christmas Eve, a young girl named Kelly is hesitant to attend a festive ball. To encourage her, Barbie shares the tale of Eden Starling, a glamorous singing diva in Victorian England who owns a bustling theatre. Eden is self-absorbed and dismissive of Christmas, insisting that all her employees work on the holiday despite her luxurious lifestyle and her snooty cat, Chuzzlewit, by her side.
Eden’s cold attitude toward Christmas creates tension within her theatre and among those around her. The story follows her as she encounters three mystical spirits who reveal different facets of Christmas spirit and past events linked to her life. Through these encounters, Eden faces challenges that test her values and beliefs about generosity and community during the holiday season.
