An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island (1998)

Fievel Mousekewitz and his friend Tony Toponi discover an old map that they believe leads to hidden treasure beneath Old New York. Intrigued by the prospect of adventure and riches, Fievel eagerly sets out to uncover what lies beneath the bustling city streets. Their journey takes them into an underground world unknown to most of the city’s inhabitants.

Beneath New York, Fievel encounters a secret community of Native American mice who have been forced to live underground after facing discrimination from European immigrant mice. As Fievel navigates this hidden society, he meets Chief Wulisso and other residents who reveal the challenges they endure. The adventure explores the tension between groups in this underground world while highlighting Fievel’s determination to solve the mystery of the treasure map.
